Mysore, officially renamed as Mysuru, is the third most populous city in the state of Karnataka, India. Located at the base of the Chamundi Hills about 146 km (91 mi) southwest of the state capital Bangalore, it is spread across an area of 128.42 km2 (50 sq mi). According to the 2011 national census of India, the population is 887,446. Mysore served as the capital city of Kingdom of Mysore for nearly six centuries, from 1399 until 1947. The Kingdom was ruled by the Wodeyar dynasty, except for a brief period in the late 18th century when Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan were in power. Patrons of art and culture, the Wodeyars contributed significantly to the cultural growth of the city. The cultural ambience and achievements of Mysore earned it the sobriquet Cultural capital of South Karnataka. Tourism is the major industry, while information technology has emerged as a major employer alongside the traditional industries. Mysore depends on rail and bus transport for inter-city connections. The city was the location of the first private radio station in India.

Udhagamandalam and abbreviated as Udhagai and Ooty is a town and municipality in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located 80 km north of Coimbatore and is the capital of the Nilgiri district. It is a popular hill station located in the Nilgiri Hills. Originally occupied by the Toda, the area came under the rule of the East India Company at the end of the 18th century. The economy is based on tourism and agriculture, along with manufacture of medicines and photographic film. The town is connected by the Nilgiri Ghat Road andNilgiri Mountain Railway. Its natural beauty attracts tourists and it is a popular summer destination. As of 2011, the town had a population of 88,430. Ooty is well connected roads. It is 535 km from Chennai, 80 km from Coimbatore and 155 km from Mysore.Ooty is situated on NH 67 and is connected by road via the five main accepted Nilgiri Ghat Roads. Day 1: Kempegowda International Airport (blr), Bangalore To Mysuru

After breakfast,leave for a sightseeing tour of Ooty. You can get driven to Doddabetta Peak, the highest mountain in the Nilgiri Hills. From there you can visit the Dolphin's Nose and watch the great Catherine Falls. Drive further to the Avalanche Lake and engage in Trout fishing or trekking. Return to your hotel for your night stay in Ooty.
Day 5: Ooty To Kempegowda International Airport (blr), Bangalore
After breakfast, check out and leave for your return journey. You will be driven from your hotel, past the emerald landscape back to your home in Bangalore.
